Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has made a video apology to photographer Chelsea Lauren who was hospitalised after she was kicked by Homme at a show in LA.
Homme offered an apology through a written statement earlier but he has now posted a video to social media with a lengthier apology admitting that he was, “a total dick.”
“I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life and last night was definitely one of them,” he said.
“I don’t have any excuse or a reason to justify what I did…I wanna be a good man but last night I definitely failed at that. That means I failed my family and my friends as well. I apologise also to my bandmates and my mum and my dad my wife and my brother, my kids.”
He also admitted that he’s got to, “figure out some stuff.”
“Rock ‘n’ Roll is a wonderful thing. It’s supposed to save and help people not mess them up.”
Lauren said on social media that, “nobody from QOTSA has reached out to me,” earlier but it is unknown if that has since been rectified.
Homme directed multiple apologies at Lauren during the video concluding with, “I understand you have to do what you have to do, I just want you to know that I’m sorry.”
