Riverboats Music Festival 2014 Official Lineup Announcment

For another year, the banks of the Murray River are to be transformed into a musical oasis spanning three glorious dates. Riverboats Music Festival has locked in mid-February dates for its 2014 and has now also locked in the list of Australian musical talent set to perform at the event.

The podium spots have been reserved for one of the country’s best guitarists turn solo musician Ian Moss, Paul Dempsey also in solo mode, the timeless Tim Finn and the brassed-out fun-time troupe The Cat Empire as headliners.

Next year’s festivities will also involve the delightful Thelma Plum as well as pioneer of the Australian woodcore movement Wagons, the correctly titled Dream Band as well as the Gotye-included seminal indie rock outfit The Basics.

The good times will all be happening just 2 hours out of Melbourne at Echuca-Moama. The picturesque location also boasts an array of activities totally unique to the event – cruises, stalls and side attractions all promise to supplement the music on the day, contributing to that much-needed getaway you’re after.

The grounds will also offer an array of accommodation options to fit just about all tastes and standard. Visiting the event’s official website is sure to answer any questions you may have. That’s also the place to pick up your tickets, with an array of different package options on sale now.
