Eora/Sydney artist SILVAS has unleashed his latest single MOG IN THE CITY, a swaggering new anthem built around the philosophy of unapologetically owning who you are.
Produced by SILVAS himself and mixed and mastered by The Presets’ Kim Moyes, the track pairs a razor-sharp central riff with driving electronic production built for maximum late-night energy.

According to SILVAS, that riff had actually been sitting in his arsenal for almost a year before the concept that would unlock the song finally arrived.
“It all started with a one-of-a-kind riff that I sat on for almost 12 months,” he explained.
“I preach ‘mogging’ as a state of mind. A positive state of mind that captures one’s ability to truly be themselves and own who they are as a person. As soon as I embraced that with this riff, the song wrote itself.”
He added: “In the end, my mission with music is to inspire and uplift as many people as possible, and I think this song truly captures this.”
MOG IN THE CITY arrives alongside a music video directed by Nick Ortega, pairing futuristic visuals with landmarks from SILVAS’ hometown of Eora/Sydney – or, as the artist calls it, “Silk City”.
“We wanted the Harbour Bridge in some of the scenes, because I represent Silk City baby,” SILVAS said. “This is my hometown.”
The new single continues a busy run for the emerging artist, who has recently supported Kirin J Callinan and sold out headline shows at Sydney’s Trocadero Room and Bootleggers.
Next up, SILVAS will hit the road supporting Bootleg Rascal on their national Australian tour throughout October, taking in Sydney, Wollongong, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
