If you, like many people, frothed at the sight of the Splendour In The Grass lineup this morning but can’t afford to go then there may be a way you can rectify that.
Splendour is launching a Twitter hunt tomorrow and Friday, giving away double passes to anyone who finds the tickets.
Basically, double passes to Splendour will be hidden around Sydney, Melbourne, Toowoomba, Brisbane and Byron Bay over the next two days and you’ll have to keep an eye on Twitter for clues of where to find them.
If you’re in Toowoomba, Brisbane or Byron the tickets will be hidden in your city tomorrow while Sydney and Melbourne will have to be on the ball on Friday. If you don’t live in those cities, Splendour has assured that these aren’t the only Twitter hunts that will be going down in the next few weeks.
The double passes include three days of action at the festival which means you and a buddy can catch The Strokes, The Cure, Flume, The Avalanches and heaps more. It also includes camping for everyone apart from whoever finds the tickets in Byron because they have a comfy bed only a few KMs from the festival anyway.
