Austin rockers Spoon have announced two new Australian headline shows for March, where they’ll show off a bunch of new material.
Touring in support of their forthcoming ninth album Hot Thoughts, Spoon have locked in two headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Last on our shores back in 2015, Spoon are this time returning with founding band members Britt Daniel and Jim Eno, along with touring musos Rob Pope, Alex Fischel and Gerardo Larios.
While they’re in Australia, Spoon will also be drawing from their extensive back-catalogue, which features hits like ‘I Summon You’, ‘You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb’, ‘Is Love Forever’ and ‘Written In Reverse’.
Hot Thoughts is set for release on 17th March. Hear the title track below, alongside Spoon’s Aussie tour dates and ticket details.
UPDATE 17/03/17: Melbourne singer/songwriter Mike Noga (formerly of The Drones) will perform as special support guest at all shows.
