The Jim Jones Revue Announce New Album

London punk rockers The Jim Jones Revue have delighted fans with news of their forthcoming release. Looking to drop October 12 in Australia, The Savage Heart marks the big 3rd release for the band and has their strong following salivating at the mouth.

Determined to make an album that had the power to stand alone while staying under the umbrella of The Jim Jones Revue’s brand of punk rock, the band took a different road, both instrumentally and lyrically. The result of which is a release that will please the horde of fans, as well as beckoning some new ones into the club. The band teamed up with Jim Sclavunos (Grinderman/Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds) in the studio and Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys/Adele/The Temper Trap) was enlisted for mixing, so it will be a very diverse punk album.

The band has progressed in leaps and bounds, having gigged throughout America, Europe and Australia (Falls, BDO, and sold-out headliners), they also made the short list for the MOJO’s best live bands for 2011. Furthermore, they proved their ability to adapt to any environment after stealing the show from both David Letterman and Jools Holland after performing tracks from their 2010 release Burning Your House Down on their respective programs.

So, strap in and grab onto something solid, The Savage Heart is almost here! Out October 12 through the good guys at Liberator Music/[PIAS]/Punk Rock Blues.
