Triple J’s Matt & Alex just won the ARIAs, and it hasn’t even started yet.
Radioland’s favourite larrikin duo have frocked up for their red carpet entrance at this year’s awards ceremony, and their outfits are enough to make even the late Joan Rivers swoon down from heaven’s fashion police HQ.
One-upping last year’s efforts, which saw them don both fake beards and beige leotards to channel artists-of-the-moment Chet Faker and Sia, Matt & Alex have once again cloaked themselves in the cultural zeitgeist, from head to toe.
And what we mean by that is, they’ve dressed up as a massive human Hotline Bling gif.
The fellas are about to hit the ARIAS circuit dressed as Drake and the giant pink background from his now-iconic video clip.
Champagne Papi would be proud.
