Off the back of one of the most celebrated resurgences in Australian music, seminal Aussie rockers Tumbleweed have announced they will be hitting the road in support of their brand-new record Sounds From The Other Side.
Sounds From The Other Side is the first time that the original members have made music together since 1995’s Galactaphonic. Lead single from the record Daddy Long Legs is testament to the amount of fury that remains within the outfit after all these years, and follow up single Like A Night Owl has proved to be more of the same.
Representing the age of “fuck on the floor and break shit” rock n roll, Tumbleweed’s reign over the Australian rock movement took place during the 90s when the band dropped 4 full-length albums while earning a rep of serious road dogs where they played alongside bands like Lemonheads, Mudhoney and a little three-piece you may be familiar with called Nirvana.
Sounds From The Other Side is officially out today and will be launched at the Annandale Hotel in Sydney tomorrow night.
