Ty Dolla $ign, YG, And PNAU Lead 2022 The Grass Is Greener Lineup

The lineup for the 2022 edition of The Grass Is Greener festival has arrived, with some of the biggest names in local and international music set to tour the country this October. Leading the charge is American vocalist Ty Dolla $ign and rapper YG. They’re joined by Aussie heavyweights PNAU, Sticky Fingers, and ONEFOUR.

The lineup also includes local names such as Boo Seeka, Mashd N Kutcher, and Market Memories, as well as international tourists ZHU, Maya Jane Coles, SIDEPIECE, VNSSA, and many more. The Grass is Greener started out as a dream by a “bunch of mates in Cairns” back in 2016, and this year’s edition is described as the festival’s “boldest play to date”.

The organisers explain they’ve made a “considerable investment” into the construction of the festival. They’re planning to offer attendees “a truly one-off experience”, with multiple themed stages, renewed festival activations, and a VIP experience. The festival will also become the first in the country to integrate NFTs into their ticketing through a limited edition 1,111 NFT Collection.

According to information released by organisers, the limited edition NFTs won’t just grant owners access to the event, but also unlock unique on-site experiences that aren’t available to physical ticket-holders. The NFTs are set to be minted at 8am on Tuesday, 12th July, 24 hours before pre-sale tickets go on sale.

The 2022 edition of The Grass Is Greener will kick off at Gold Coast’s Doug Jennings Park on 22nd October, before visiting Canberra, Cairns, and Geelong across the following week. Pre-sale tickets are on sale from Wednesday, 13th July, with general tickets on sale from Thursday, 14th July. Full details are available below.
