UNIFY Gathering Expands For 2017, Dates And Venue Announced

UPDATE 22/06/16: The UNIFY Gathering Lineup Is Here.

Hushed whispers that UNIFY Gathering would be kicking things up a gear for 2017 have been confirmed. Today, organisers behind the event have revealed the next edition will be a two-night, three-day affair going down at the stunning Tarwin Meadows in Gippsland.

In years prior, the heavy music gathering has been a one-night, two day festival and even in that capacity was considered a huge weekend. Though there won’t be a lineup announcement until Wednesday, 22nd June, it’s very clear it’s going to also be huge as that’s a lot of time for live music.

Speaking to Hysteria, UNIFY 2017 organiser and UNFD label manager Luke Logemann gave away some sweet festival info. “We have one band playing a classic album from 2008. We have two bands reforming to play. We have three bands returning from UNIFY 15 and three bands returning from UNIFY 16. And we have seven internationals from three different countries.”

He also explained that the team have listened to the punter feedback from previous years, and the fest will boast, “More toilets and shade, less dust, lots of new food options and we’ll try not to sell out of merch in the first few hours this time!”

On top of the little touches, there will also be a VIP ticketing option, which includes access to “a new VIP bar, an express parking area and entrance, as well as some cool memorabilia stuff.” VIP ticket upgrades will be available from June 29.

Early-bird tickets will hit the market on Friday, June 3 and will be available to previous ticket holders. Just 2,000 tickets have been allocated so Early-bird will most likely going to sell out in minutes.
