Chvrches frontwoman Lauren Mayberry don’t take no guff.
The fiery Scot is basically just as well known for verbally throat-punching misogynistic internet trolls as she is for her dreamy electro-pop vox.
So when a lovestruck punter at a recent Chvrches gig decided to interrupt the frontwoman’s regularly scheduled stage bantz with a loud marriage proposal, Mayberry swiftly dismantled him with ninja finesse, to tumultuous cheers from the crowd.
Then, when a second heckler asked her why she was being such a grumpy-pants, she responded by flipping him off and launching into Chvrches’ new song Playing Dead, off their just-released album Every Open Eye.
