It’s been a long bloody wait for this new Slipknot album, but now we have official confirmation as to when we’ll have the highly anticipated record.
Back in November, frontman Corey Taylor said the band would be recording their new album in January and it will be out in the middle of 2019.
No no- 2019. That’s what I said. Recording in Jan. Album out middle of 2019.

Story checks out, as the band have today confirmed that the new album will be out Friday, 9th August.
The album will be the first lot of new music we’ve gotten from Taylor and co. since their 2014 album .5: The Gray Chapter so needless to say fans have been absolutely starving for a new record. Not to mention, by giving us one-off single ‘All Out Life’ last year, we’ve practically been tortured with our hunger for more.
In the meantime, pencil in August 9.
