Yusuf (Cat Stevens) Announces 50th Anniversary Australian Tour

British music legend Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Stevens) has announced he’ll return to Australia later this year in celebration of the 50th anniversary of his first hit single and debut album Matthew & Son.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee will play some huge Aussie shows this November in December as part of his Peace Train Tour, hitting up arenas and parklands in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hunter Valley, Sydney and Brisbane.

Yusuf toured Australia back in 2010, on his first Aussie jaunt in 36 years. Since then, the singer-songwriter has released his 14th studio album Tell ‘Em I’m Gone. On his upcoming Aussie tour, he’ll delve into his extensive back-catalogue, playing songs new and old.

Yusuf is currently working on a children’s animation series and writing his autobiography, which is expected to arrive in 2018. Catch all of his upcoming Australian tour dates, below.
