Babyshambles have added four extra dates to their Australian tour. Here as part of this year’s incredible Splendour In The Grass 2013 lineup, the visit marks the very first time Pete Doherty and co have made their way to our shores, with these new dates seeing them take in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
Since taking a break from The Libertines, Babyshambles has become frontman Doherty’s primary project, despite word from the camp remaining quiet as of late. Now though, with new track Dr No (Sharks In The Water) recently premiered live and the band currently putting the finishing touches on their long-awaited third studio album with producer Stephen Street (Blur, Kaiser Chiefs), Australian fans can expect to see a revitalised Babyshambles, and probably hear some fresh tunes too!
This eagerly anticipated debut Australian tour is sure to sell like roses on Valentines, so you’d better make sure you get in quick if you’re keen. Tickets are on presale from 10am this Friday, 24th May via Secret Sounds – you’ll have to sign up to their presale page on Facebook to access it. General release hit the public on Thursday, 30th May. Can’t wait!
