Boy & Bear Announce National Tour

Written by Michael Carr on September 11, 2015

Indie folk darlings Boy & Bear have just announced announced a national tour in support of their new album Limit Of Love. The first shows the band have played on home soil since Splendour In The Grass this year, the tour will get started in Hobart before making the rounds in all the capitol cities in January.

Limit Of Love, the band’s third effort and their follow-up to Harlequin Dream, is set to be released on Friday 9th October. The album, which saw the band writing collaboratively as a band for the first time was recorded live to tape with Ethan Johns (Kings Of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs).

The first taste of the yet to be released work comes in the form of their new single Walk The Wire, with a seriously wacky video directed by Darcy Prendergast and Josh Thomas of Oh Yeah Wow, the award-winning team behind clips for Gotye and Hermitude.

Along for the ride this time are Brisbane’s Art Of Sleeping, who are hitching their wagon to the Boy & Bear train following the release of their debut album Shake Shiver. Sydney’s Montaigne is also joining the tour, the powerful vocalist having her own new material to flog.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday 18th September at 11am AEST with a fan pre-sale beginning Wednesday 16th September.
