Coldplay Australian Tour November 2012 – Dates Announced

Written by Brayden Darke on May 13, 2012

After various rumours and the postponement of a two-date corporate visit earlier this year, Coldplay have now officially announced their Mylo Xyloto Australian tour for this November. They’ll be playing three shows – in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, as well as one New Zealand show in Auckland. Supporting them will be The Temper Trap and The Pierces.

Undeniably one of the world’s biggest bands, news came back in March that they would be heading our way this November. Originally they had plans to play shows for 2DayFM and Sunrise in February before cancelling it due to “personal reasons”. It wasn’t long after that an interview with revealed they would be coming here for an arena tour instead.

“We can’t wait to get back to Australia this November. It’s such a special place for us. These venues are pretty huge, the Aussie crowds are always incredible and we’ll be bringing everything we’ve got. It’s going to be big” says Chris Martin, speaking with their official website.

Advance tickets will be available for any Visa Credit, Debit and Prepaid cardholders from 12noon (local time) in Sydney and 1:00pm (local time) in Brisbane, this Thursday, 17 May, 2012 until 5:00pm (local time), Saturday, 19 May, 2012 or until presale tickets sell out at
