The Offspring Confirmed For Soundwave 2013

Written by Brayden Darke on August 7, 2012

Update 08/08: Soundwave 2013 lineup has been officially announced! Check it out here!

It appears another band has been leaked for the Soundwave 2013 lineup, this time it’s the legendary So-Cal punk rockers The Offspring. Triple M Sydney released a photo hint this afternoon, claiming that they have seen the lineup, but are sworn to secrecy. Though the face is blurred, it’s an obvious pic of frontman Dexter Holland.

An Australian tour has been on the cards for a while now, they were even thrown into the mix of bands for last year’s lineup as well. Another strong source of the rumour has come from Herald Sun reporter Nui Te Koha, who tweeted last week that Travis would join Blink-182 on tour (which was true, tweet below), and that The Offspring would also be on the list of bands that is already starting to swell despite the pending official announcement, which will come tomorrow morning.

We’ll be covering the full lineup tomorrow morning right here on Music Feeds from 7:30am. Until then, check out our full list of confirmed and rumoured acts right here.
