Shannon Noll’s New Single & Video Are So Aussie We Can’t Bloody Handle It

Old m8 Shannon Noll is back with a brand new single, and (of course) it comes with its own Aussie-lovin’ music video of Nollsie with his shirt off.

Nollsie’s newie, titled ‘Southern Sky’, sees the former Australian Idol runner-up live it up in some truly Aussie locations, complete with a sheepdog, a sunset, a farm, a horse, and (of course) a beach.

The close-up sequence of Nollsie riding a horse really is something to behold, and punters are already sending him cheeky messages on Facebook:

“From the moment I came up with the title I knew it was going to be a special song,” Nollsie says.

“I’m so proud of it and I hope everyone likes it as much as I do, because it’s a song about all of the things that make this country great, from its landmarks to the people who live in it!

“We had a beautiful few days in the Hunter Valley and Newcastle filming the ‘Southern Sky’ video. As an Aussie who grew up in the bush, I love being able to show the beauty of our country in my music clips. We travelled from cliffs to the coast, with each scene giving just a taste of the amazing Australian landscapes out there beyond the cities.”

‘Southern Sky’ arrives on the back of a huge national tour Nollsie announced last month, which kicks off in Sydney tonight. The song is also the second single to be lifted from Nollsie’s upcoming fifth studio album, which is still without a name or release date.
