Jordan Rakei Announces 2025 Australian Tour

Jordan Rakei has announced a three-date, east coast Australian tour for February 2025. The tour comes in support of the New Zealand-born alternative rnb singer-songwriter’s fifth studio album The Loop, which was officially released this past May. The full list of dates, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.

In addition to the Australian shows, Rakei will also embark on a homecoming to New Zealand. Prior to The Loop tour starting at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre, Rakei will perform at the Electric Avenue festival at Hagley Park in Christchurch on Friday, February 21st. The likes of Chase & Status, Empire of the Sun, Tash Sultana and Tones & I will also perform alongside Rakei on the festival’s first day. Ticketing information for the festival can be accessed via the official Electric Avenue website.

Included in the Australian tour will be Rakei’s debut performance at the Sydney Opera House, playing in the venue’s Concert Hall. In a statement, Rakei remarked that it was “an honour” to be performing in the prestigious room. “I still remember the day we did a school trip [there] when I was 11,” he said. “I remember just walking around the venue, inside and out, in silence taking it all in, shooting pics on my disposable [camera]. To play my own show there is going to be pretty mind blowing. I can’t wait.”
