Yours & Owls has announced the line-up for its 2025 iteration, coming some 18 months after the festival last ran in 2023. Next March will see the Wollongong-based festival bring Ireland’s Fontaines D.C., rapper Denzel Curry, indie veterans The Kooks and American pop-rock stalwarts the Goo Goo Dolls to the area for the first time in their careers. The full line-up, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.
Fontaines had already been announced as returning to Australia last week when they featured on the Golden Plains line-up. That festival will take place the weekend after Yours & Owls, with the band playing their own headlining shows in-between. Stay tuned to Music Feeds for more information on their headlining tour. Curry, meanwhile, was last in Australia in April 2023 as part of that year’s Groovin The Moo line-up. The Kooks were meant to return in May for the same festival, but it was abruptly cancelled just weeks after its announcement.
Denzel Curry – ‘Ricky’
Others making up the international contingent of the festival include frequent Curry collaborator JPEGMAFIA – who announced his own headlining tour earlier in the year – as well as Elderbrook, Orville Peck and Honey Dijon. On the Australian front, the festival features hometown heroes Hockey Dad, as well as The Jungle Giants, Peach PRC, The Veronicas and Allday, among others.
Earlier this month saw Yours & Owls run a “pre-party” mini-festival, headlined by Peking Duk and Golden Features. It effectively served as a make-good for having to postpone the festival from its usual October 2024 timeslot, due to the scheduling availabilities of the headlining acts.
