Sleep Theory Announce First-Ever Australian Headline Tour With Rivals

One of modern rock’s fastest-rising new bands is finally heading Down Under.

Memphis heavyweights Sleep Theory have announced their first-ever Australian headline tour, bringing Los Angeles duo RIVALS along for the ride when they hit five cities across the country in February 2027.

Sleep Theory – ‘Static’

The run kicks off in Perth before making stops in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

In the space of just a couple of years, Sleep Theory have gone from underground newcomers to one of the hottest names in modern rock. Their breakout single ‘Fallout’ became one of Active Rock radio’s biggest songs of 2024, while the band’s blend of crushing riffs, soaring melodies and frontman Cullen Moore’s powerhouse vocals has earned comparisons to the likes of Linkin Park and Bring Me The Horizon.

Their rapid rise hasn’t gone unnoticed either, with artists including Jelly Roll and Disturbed frontman David Draiman singing their praises, while tours alongside Shinedown, Falling In Reverse, Beartooth, Nothing More, Wage War and Set It Off have helped cement their reputation as one of heavy music’s most exciting live acts.

Across their acclaimed Paper Hearts EP and debut album Afterglow, Sleep Theory have carved out a distinctive sound that effortlessly fuses metal, hard rock, pop and R&B into something uniquely their own. That momentum saw Amazon Music, Loudwire and Revolver all name them among their Artists To Watch in 2025.

Joining them on all Australian dates will be Los Angeles outfit RIVALS, whose blend of dark pop, post-hardcore and alternative rock has earned them a devoted global following.

The duo have become known for pairing emotionally charged songwriting with huge hooks and explosive live performances, making them a fitting addition to Sleep Theory’s long-awaited Australian debut.
