The Brightside
Brisbane’s The Brightside will host a mini festival on Australia Day eve on Sunday January 25th featuring both local and international acts for a day filled with live music over two stages. The day will be headlined by Sugar Mountain Festival act Ariel Pink as well as psychedelic rockers The Clean and the US producer How To Dress Well.

The Triffid
Brisbane’s brand new live music venue, The Triffid, which is run by Australian music legend John Collins, formerly known as the bassist from Brisbane rock band Powderfinger, will be hosting its very first Hottest 100 party. Apart from streaming triple j, music will be provided by Brisbane four piece, Millions.

Miami Tavern and Waterfront Hotel
The Gold Coast’s Miami Tavern and the Sunshine Coast’s Waterfront Hotel will each host concerts this Australia Day weekend with Oz Fest, featuring sets from Illy, The Preatures, Allday, Kingswood and The Creases. Oz Fest will hit Miami Tavern on Saturday 24th January and move onto Waterfront Hotel on Sunday 25th January.
