Sydney indie quintet Boy & Bear are going bush, with the boys behind Harlequin Dream today dropping tour dates for an extensive Aussie run that kicks off in Mackay next April and sees the group play 30 dates around the nation.
Extensive touring is becoming old hat for the outfit, who have just wrapped up a run of national dates and will head to Europe and the USA to tour in the early months on 2014, including a gig at SXSW festival in Texas next March.
But hitting new parts of Oz is getting the Southern Sun hitmakers all excited, with singer Dave Hosking saying, “This will be the most extensive regional tour the band has done and we are very much looking forward to it. We love the idea of playing to new people in new and exciting parts of the country.”
Boy & Bear have had plenty of success following the release of their sophomore long play, with Harlequin Dream nominated for triple j’s Album Of The Year at the J Awards. You can grab tickets and info for the tour from their official website.
