With the dust still yet to settle from their massive Soundwave performance and sideshows, UK metalcore juggernauts Bring Me The Horizon have announced another run of headlining Australian tour dates for 2013, with an lineup of international support featuring post-hardcore heroes Of Mice & Men and one of Japan’s most pumping musical exports, Crossfaith.
Unless you’ve been in a coma for the past year, you’ll no doubt be familiar with the latest addition to the Bring Me arsenal, Sempiternal. The latest installment from the band dropped earlier this year and marked a noticeable departure from anything they’ve done in the past. Shedding their deathcore skin to make way for a completely new vibe was clearly a smart move, as the band has proven they are still yet to reach cruising altitude.
Of Mice & Men are about as big as it gets in the scene right now. Their latest album The Flood has been out for almost 12 months now and it’s still a getting an absolutely flogging on iPods all over the world. But fear not because, as main man Austin Carlile told us at Soundwave, you can expect some new jams from the band before Christmas time.
The opening act for the tour will be Crossfaith who, in a short period of time, have managed to capture the ears and hearts of a swelling Australian fan base. Come August, they will be proving their steel with their eagerly awaited full-length Apocalyze.
Tickets for the tour are on sale from 9am Friday 14th June via the vendors listed below.
