Cold Chisel Have Announced A Massive Outdoor National Tour For The Start Of Next Year

Legendary Aussie rock titans Cold Chisel have announced a bloody massive tour for summer 2020, playing over a dozen special outdoor shows throughout Australia and New Zealand, including five A Day on The Green events.

Since 1983, Chisel have reformed for just four national tours – something frontman Jimmy Barnes says means the band needs to make each one count.

“We knew that if we were going to get the band back together for another full tour it would have to be something really special,” he says.

“We wanted great line-ups and unusual places so that people would remember these gigs for a long, long time.”

The iconic act may have cut their teeth in the country’s pubs back in the 70s, but this time around Barnesy and co will take to beaches, rivers and bush throughout Australia – meaning, yes, you can belt out ‘Flame Trees’ surrounded by natural and picturesque ambiance.

Plus, many of the shows on the ‘Blood Moon’ tour will feature fellow staples of Australia’s musical lineage – with special guests including the likes of Paul Kelly, Hoodoo Gurus, Birds of Tokyo, Kasey Chambers, Troy Cassar-Daley and Magic Dirt, to name a few.

Check out tour dates below. Tickets go on sale Monday, 21st October, but there’s a pre-sale happening from Wednesday, 16th October. For full lineups in each city, see the band’s official website.
