Super-popular UK solo star Ed Sheeran has announced a new tour of Australia next year – just as he’s about to land in the country for his sold-out theatre shows.
Sheeran will play arenas across the country in February and March after promoter Frontier Touring “received enormous volumes of requests from fans of all walks of life for additional shows”. He was unable to add any extra dates to his July/August theatre tour due to his tight schedule.
Along with selling out his upcoming shows in minutes, Sheeran has been a cult favourite here in Australia. His album ‘+’ and singles The A-Team and Lego House have all gone multi-platinum.
Tickets to all the shows are around $90 and go on sale Thursday, August 9. Frontier Touring mailing list members will get access to a pre-sale from 3PM, Monday, August 6.
