America’s iconic sludge metal band EYEHATEGOD is all set to embark on their Turn Troubled Tables Tour of Australia this July. Joining them for the Australian leg of the tour will be Goatwhore.
The tour will begin at Perth’s Amplifier Bar on Tuesday, 23rd July, followed by Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday, 25th July, and conclude at Brisbane’s The Zoo on Monday, 28th July.
Joining them on stage is special guest Goatwhore, a band known for their relentless blend of death, black, thrash, and sludge metal. With over a decade-long career, Goatwhore is ready to deliver an electrifying performance on this tour.
EYEHATEGOD – ‘Medicine Noose’
The band is known for their unique blend of southern rock, blues riffs, and hardcore punk, EYEHATEGOD has carved a niche in the music industry. Drawing inspiration from bands like Black Flag, The Melvins, and Black Sabbath, they have influenced countless artists and earned a reputation as one of the most distinctive bands in the genre.
Their latest album, A History of Nomadic Behaviour, released after their last Australian tour in 2019, showcases their signature sound characterized by blowtorch-distorted guitars and blues-infused melodies. With piercing lyrics reflecting pain and fury, the album captures the essence of EYEHATEGOD’s chaotic yet captivating style.
Fans can expect a hard rock night as these two powerhouse bands come together for what promises to be an unforgettable tour. Tickets for the tour will go on sale at 9.00 am local time on Thursday, March 7.
