Jet Announce 2018 ‘Get Re-Born’ 15th Anniversary National Tour

Aussie rockers Jet have announced a 15th anniversary national tour in celebration of their 2003 debut album Get Born.

The band’s ‘Get Re-Born’ tour will see the group tour the country between May and June, hitting up venues in Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, where they’ll perform Get Born in its entirety.

To kick things off, the six-time ARIA Award winners will be playing a free show in a Melbourne laneway today, and they’re already pumped to get back out on the road.

“We’re really excited to play Get Born in full for the first time ever,” say the band.

“The idea of playing this album and celebrating 15 years since began our journey is something that’s very special to us, and we can’t wait to get out there and see old friends again, and meet plenty of new ones as well.”

To coincide with the tour, Jet will also release the Get Born: Live At The Forum live album in May.

Jet disbanded in 2012, but reformed in 2016, before playing their first show in over six years and releasing a bizarre new song with The Bloody Beetroots.

The group’s latest album, Shaka Rock, dropped in 2009, and Cester has since released his debut solo album Sugar Rush.
