Keith Urban Announces Australian Tour In Jan/Feb 2013

Australian country music star and The Voice coach Keith Urban will kick off his world tour on home soil next year – playing arenas on the East Coast in January and February.

Interestingly, Urban has scheduled two shows at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre over the Australia Day weekend, but only has one pencilled in so far for Sydney and Melbourne, which he will visit later in the tour.

“Being such a Queenslander at heart I’m stoked we can start the Australian tour in Brisbane, I reckon it’s gonna go off. Can’t wait to tour again”, Urban told Ninemsn.

Urban’s last world tour in 2011 drew rave reviews from fans and netted $US15.7 million.  He also sits at no.27 on Billboard’s list of Music’s Top 40 Music Makers in the US – ahead of the likes of the Foo Fighters and Usher.

Tickets for Keith Urban’s The Story So Far tour go on sale at 9am on Monday, June 25.  Members of Urban’s fan club – Monkeyville – will get access to a pre-sale on Wednesday, June 20.
