Kim Wilde Announces Greatest Hits Australian Tour

British pop icon Kim Wilde has surprised her fans with the announcement of her 2024 Greatest Hits tour. This will mark her return to Australia after several years. The news comes shortly after tour promoters Metropolis Touring hinted at her comeback.

The tour will begin on October 17th at Brisbane’s The Tivoli, followed by Tweed Heads’ Twin Towns on October 18th, and conclude at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on October 26th.

Kim Wilde – ‘You Keep Me Hanging On’

Kim Wilde’s Greatest Hits tour will showcase timeless classics such as “Kids Of America,” “Cambodia,” “You Keep Me Hangin’ On,” “You Came,” “Chequered Love,” and “If I Can’t Have You.” These songs are sure to evoke nostalgic memories and create an unforgettable experience for concert-goers.

Kim Wilde’s last visit to Australia was in November 2016, where she performed alongside fellow ’80s icon Howard Jones. Reviewer Mac McNaughton praised Wilde’s performance, describing her as a “survivor” of the ’80s pop era. Her energetic renditions of hits like “If I Can’t Have You” and “You Came” left audiences immersed in pure joy at venues like Perth’s Astor Theatre.

Tickets for the tour will go on pre-sale tomorrow at 11 am AEDT, followed by general sale on Thursday, March 14th. Fans can purchase tickets through the Metropolis Touring.
