Ladyhawke Moves Australian East Coast Tour To Feb-March 2022

Ladyhawke was due to return to Australia this October for her first tour of the country in five years. The tour will now take place in February and March 2022.

The uncertainty surrounding COVID restrictions and the continued spread of the Delta variant forced the tour postponement. However, the rescheduled tour will include an extra date in Melbourne after the first two shows sold out. Tickets for the original dates will remain valid; refund requests must be submitted prior to Tuesday, 26th October.

Ladyhawke—the project of New Zealand singer-songwriter Pip Brown—will begin the run in Brisbane on Friday, 25th February before travelling south for a couple of shows at Sydney’s Factory Theatre in early March. She’ll wrap things up with a three night stand at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel.

Ladyhawke will release her long-awaited fourth album, Time Flies, in October. The album is preceded by the singles ‘Guilty Love’ (ft. Georgia Nott of Broods), ‘Mixed Emotions’ and ‘Think About You’. The record features production from Nick Littlemore (Pnau, Empire of the Sun), Jono Sloan (Empire of the Sun), Tommy English (Carly Rae Jepsen) and Josh Fountain (Benee).

It’s Ladyhawke’s first LP since 2016’s Wild Things. It’s also her first since giving birth to a child with partner, actor and comedian Madeleine Sami, and first since having an invasive melanoma removed in 2018.
