Mariah Carey Has Postponed Her Australian Tour Again

Mariah Carey has postponed her Australian tour for a second time.

The pop diva was first scheduled to come down under in February, but announced last year that her #1s Tour dates would be pushed forward to October “due to a necessary realignment of her international engagements”.

Now, those dates have been axed too, with new ones TBA.

“It is with much regret that I am unable to visit Australia & New Zealand later this year, however I promise to find new dates soon,” Carey said in a statement.

“I’ve been working away on new music and I cannot wait to share it with you later this year,” she added.

Meanwhile, promoters MJR Presents said: “We are disappointed that Mariah’s shows are cancelled but look forward to hearing her new material soon. Full refunds will be given to all ticket holders from their original point of purchase and we apologise for the inconvenience to fans and ticket holders.”

They’ve indicated that all current ticket holders will receive an email from their ticket provider confirming a full refund.
