Moaning Lisa Announce Long Awaited Debut Album Tour

Moaning Lisa have dropped the goss: they’ll finally be out on the road this year, performing some long overdue headline shows between October and November, as well as February 2022.

The shows will be in support of the band’s forthcoming debut album, Something Like This But Not This. The album, due out October 8th, has already had two singles drop in ‘Something’ and ‘Inadequacy’. And this week, Moaning Lisa have shared the third track from the LP, titled ‘Cold Water’.

If you needed a bit of a music balm courtesy of the Melbourne-via-Canberra group, this may just be it.

Listen to ‘Cold Water’ below.

“We were channeling a bit of Mitski, Adalita and Sleater-Kinney when we wrote this,” vocalist Charlie Versegi has said of ‘Cold Water’. “But mostly, we were channeling ourselves.”

The tour dates announced this week stretch into the beginning of 2022, pending COVID-19 restrictions currently hampering Sydney and wider NSW. The tour is set to kick off in Brisbane on October 14th, before heading through Byron Bay, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth. Moaning Lisa will also perform in Melbourne and Ballarat in November, restrictions pending.

Tickets for the headline tour are on sale now.
