Muroki Announces Debut Headline Australian Tour

New Zealand songwriter Muroki has announced a string of headline Australian shows kicking off next month, his first time performing in the country – or outside of NZ at all, for that matter.

Muroki will perform four headline shows as part of the run, in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Melbourne and Sydney. He’ll also perform five dates as support for pop wunderkind (and fellow Kiwi) BENEE as part of the Australian leg of her world tour.

“I’m super excited to be coming to Australia In March and April,” Muroki said in a statement. “This will be my first time playing shows overseas, can’t wait to see y’all there!”

Muroki released debut single ‘For Better or Worse’ back in 2019, catching the attention of BENEE, who both signed him to her Olive Records label and featured his vocals on her Hey u x cut ‘All the Time’ the following year. His breakout hit ‘Wavy’ arrived in 2021, with debut EP Dawn following shortly after.

See tour dates for Muroki’s Australian tour below. Tickets for all shows – both headline dates and his shows supporting BENEE – are on sale now.
