Music and entertainment giants Mushroom Group have announced that they’ve launched their very own podcast, titled 180 Grams.
Each season of the podcast will go in depth into the stories that brought some of our favourite albums to be, with the first season focusing on The Teskey Brothers‘ highly acclaimed and GRAMMY nominated second album Run Home Slow.
The podcast will be hosted by music journalist Mikey Cahill, and will see the Melbourne-based band “bare all in learning the ropes of the music business and the pressures of making a second album filled with nuance, tension and carefully crafted songs”, as per a press release.
Listeners will be getting an incredibly thorough recount of the album’s formation, with over 30 people being interviewed across the season’s six episodes.
New episodes of the podcast will launch every Tuesday, with the first episode, titled ‘I Bet They Can’t Do It Live’, available now.
