Sydney-bred heroes of dreamy indie pop The Holidays recently announced the release of their sophomore album, Real Feel, and an accompanying tour, much to the delight of their fans. Before they hit the road they’re gonna hit Music Feeds Studio for a session of Music Feeds LIVE.
“I had an idea for a sound that I couldn’t quite name or explain, a vague feeling, somewhere between love and loneliness, like a daydream where you can’t quite remember the content but the feelings you had remain,” said frontman Simon Jones of the follow-up to 2011’s Post Paradise.
The album is slated for a Friday, 21st February release and has already yielded two singles, Voices Drifting (check the video below) and All Time High, both acclaimed for their opulent, layered production and the band’s singular and dreamy take on the traditional indie pop framework.
