A lot have people have been asking whether Ken West and his new team of honchos have another set of acts lined up for next year’s Big Day Out.
Well, if you were hoping for more goodies, you’re out of luck. Music Feeds can confirm that there will not be a second lineup announcement for Big Day Out 2013 – and the gigantic first announcement of acts – led by Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Killers – is the be-all and end-all for next year’s edition of the festival.
Organisers have hinted that there might be one or two surprise acts – but there definitely won’t be enough to constitute a separate second announcement.
Earlier this month, Big Day Out organisers announced that they were introducing a payment-plan option for people to purchase their tickets and pay them off in monthly instalments. Read more about that here.
Tickets are still available for all five Big Day Out legs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth – click here to snap them up.
