Polish Club Release New Single ‘Manila’

Polish Club has come up with their new single and also an accompanying video for the track titled ‘Manila.’ They are also going to perform live at Sydney Spiegeltent on Thursday, 23rd May. They have ditched their major label and have moved to self-management. Both the artists got married and one of them, Novak, also recovered from an open heart surgery and now the duo is all set to make a comeback with their amazing music.

The track ‘Manila’ was mixed, mastered and also tracked by the legend, Simon Berckelman at Marrickville’s Golden Retriever. The track has been co-written by Robby De Sa (MAY-A, Vera Blue, Gretta Ray, Grent Perez).

Polish Club – ‘Manila’

Singer David Novak about the new single ‘Manila’. “There’s a reservation in the vocal to ‘Manila’ that we haven’t really explored in our previous music. It feels like a more earned climax towards the end of the song. Like when you really take your time with building a crescendo in a song.” said the singer David Novak about ‘Manila’.

As half of Novak’s family is from Manila. And a lot still reside there, the metropolis feels like home to the singer. The accompanying video that comes with the song has been shot by Novak during his last trip. The trip was to his maternal uncle’s place. The whole video has been recorded in his camcorder.

“We’ve never released a single completely by ourselves, let alone a big live show, so we really feel like we’re almost a new band just starting off fresh.” said Novak.
