Post Modern Jukebox Announce 2022 Australian Tour

Post Modern Jukebox, the New York City-formed collective known for transforming modern hits with a vintage flair, will be returning to Australia next year for a nationwide tour.

The collective, formed by Scott Bradlee, will be taking on 12 dates throughout February and March of next year. They’ll be kicking things off in Darwin, before taking on dates in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Canberra, Toowoomba and Brisbane before ending things in the Gold Coast.

“Ever since our first trip Down Under in 2015, we’ve made Australia an annual stop on our tour itinerary and have gotten to meet some of the best audiences in the world, as a result,” Bradlee said of the forthcoming tour.

“We have been so sad to miss a couple of years of this annual tradition due to the pandemic, but we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be back better than ever in 2022 for our sixth tour of the continent.”

Billed as the ‘Grand Reopening’ tour, Bradlee explained, “I’m grateful to be able to create and collaborate with so many talented people and playing live to a theatre full of music fans is something that we’ve all really missed.

“We’re fortunate to have so many incredible fans worldwide that have enabled PMJ to become a global touring act, and we’re looking forward to bringing outstanding talent and classic sounds to every corner of the world once more.”

If you’re unfamiliar with some of Post Modern Jukebox’s work, they’ve redone Radiohead’s ‘Creep’, Spice Girls’ ‘Wannabe’ and, most recently, they’ve redone the iconic theme song of Friends.
