This track was released after the release of the LP ‘Step Into Your Power’ , which was released earlier, in the month of June. The upcoming album will be released on 16th August.

The lyrics of the song and the acoustic instruments are put together to create a melody that talks about the upbringing and the youth of the folk singer, Ray LaMontagne.

The album, ‘Long Way Home’ is going to mark Ray’s 9th short album after his debut back in 2004. He is a very talented, independent artist and is going to release this album through his newly created label Liula Records.

All the tracks of the album have been recorded at his home studio in Western Massachusetts. The track ‘Long Way Home’ has been co-produced by Seth Kauffman.

LaMontagne said the following “It took me nine songs to express what Townes managed to say in one line. I guess I still got a lot to learn.”
