Jakarta-born rapper Rich Brian has announced his return to Australian shores next month, after a sold out run of dates down under last year.
The announcement comes ahead of the rapper’s second album, The Sailor, due out later this month. He shared ‘Yellow’, the first single from the album, late last month.
“The Sailor is a symbol of being an explorer,” Brian says of the forthcoming album. “Of exploring uncharted territory and just going through life, curious. It’s my own story as well as the story of all immigrants that brave new worlds for a chance at something better.”
Rich Brian first caught attention after the release of breakout single ‘Dat $tick’, going on to collaborate with the likes of 21 Savage and Ghostface Killa. His debut album Amen was released back in 2018.
