Royel Otis Announce 2024 ‘Pratts & Pain’ Australian Tour

Royel Otis have shared details of their biggest headlining tour to date, set to take place in early 2024 in support of their debut studio album Pratts & Pain. The 12-date run will begin in Sydney on Friday February 16th at Liberty Hall (formerly Max Watt’s), and will conclude just under a month later at Newcastle’s freshly-minted King Street Bandroom on Thursday, March 14th. A full list of dates and ticketing information can be found below.

Pratts & Pain was announced back in October, and is set for release on February 16 – coincidentally, the night that the headlining tour itself starts. The album was recorded in South London (where the homonymously-named Pratts & Payne pub can be found) with UK producer Dan Carey – best known for his work with bands such as Wet Leg, Fontaines D.C. and Squid. Three singles were lifted from the album throughout 2023: Album opener ‘Adored’ in July, ‘Fried Rice’ in October and ‘Heading For The Door’ last Friday.

Royel Otis have been a key presence on the Australian festival circuit throughout 2023, touring in support of their Sofa Kings EP from March. This has included appearances at Yours & Owls, Groovin The Moo, Someday Soon, Spilt Milk and Lost Paradise. In addition to their headlining tour, the band will headline the Spaced Out festival in Brisbane on New Year’s Day and also head to Tasmania as part of Party In The Paddock in February 2024.
