San Sisco, Split Seconds And Felicity Groom Lead WAMI Awards Nominations

Nominees for the 2012 West Australian Music Industry (WAMi) Awards have been announced.

The awards – which celebrate the high-flyers in the WA music scene from the last 12 months – will take place at the end of this year’s WAMi music festival on June 2.

San Sisco, Split Seconds, Felicity Groom, and Pond have all scored several nominations – while Dave Cutbush, Jodie Regan, Aarom Wilson, and Jake Snell are the contenders for the most prestigous award of the ceremony: the industry-voted Golden WAMi.

There’s also several public-voted awards, including one for the Most Popular Live Music Venue.  Mojo’s, The Rosemount Hotel, The Bakery and The Bird have been shortlisted for that one.
