It’s currently fire on all cylinders within the Snakadaktal camp. With their debut full-length album Sleep In The Water set to drop Friday, 2nd August, the band have declared they will be hitting Australian highways soon after for an extensive run of nation-wide headlining dates filled with both metro and regional dates.
Their maiden LP is set to demonstrate the coming of age for Snakadaktal, who have used the record as an example of how much their sound has developed since their inception, and how much the band and their sensibilities have come into their own. This is the impression you’ll be left with after sampling the current single from the album Hung On Tight (below).
The band’s commitment to their fans is unquestionable. Prior to their run of headlining shows they’ll be hitting up River Sessions in Mackay, Splendour In The Grass in Byron and Spin Off in Adelaide with plans to further spread the love via support slots for Alt-J and upcoming dates with Bernard Fanning in North Queensland.
