After months of rumours, leaks and predictions, the Soundwave 2012 line-up is here. Almost. 60 bands from the Soundwave 2012 line-up will be drip fed to us from 3pm today (Friday 7th October), while we should hear a smaller final announcement around December.

Bands confirmed so far include Coal Chamber, who will be reforming for the festival. Mastodon, who confirmed themselves via an interview and are currently touring their new album The Hunter. We’ll also get a special set from Saves The Day, who will play Weezer’s second album Pinkerton live in full.
Bands who may have been moved from the Soundwave Revolution line-up include The Used, Hole, Machine Head, Black Veil Brides, Dashboard Confessional and Hellyeah.
Yesterday Marilyn Manson, Offspring and Evanescence were thrown into the list of possible names as well.

Tickets will go on sale to the General Public Thursday 20th October.
