SXSW Sydney have detailed the first taste of their music program as part of its 2025 line-up, marking the third consecutive local iteration of the Austin-born conference. Eight of the 14 artists are international acts, and will be coming to Australia for the very first time as part of the festival. The full line-up, as well as early bird ticketing information, can be found below.
Visiting from the UK will be Mancunian indie-rock acts Freak Slug and Jasmine.4.t, who recently released their debut albums I Blow Out Big Candles and You Are The Morning respectively. They will be joined by fellow countrymen Pivots, who are bringing an immersive and interactive live show in collaboration with creative company and tech studio Ristband. Irish band Cardinals and Thai shoegaze band Slowwves (prounounced “slow waves”) are also set to perform.
