The Antlers Announce One-Off 2015 Sydney Show

Brooklyn-based three-piece The Antlers have announced a February 2015 show in Sydney. Backed by new material from their fifth studio album Familiars, which was released in June, the group are set to bring their dreamlike soundscapes and twisted melodic beauty back to Australian fans who have sorely missed them.

Since Familiars was released earlier this year, the band have been touring throughout the U.S., and are also set to play across Europe this October/November before heading Down Under.

The Antlers last toured Australia as part of Laneway Festival in 2011, doing so only a few months prior to the release of their fourth album, Burst Apart. The band took some time out to play sideshows in both Sydney and Melbourne during that festival tour.

The Antlers’ 2015 Sydney show will see the band play Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Friday, 13th February. Tickets are on sale now. Full tour and tickets details are available below.

UPDATE: 11/11/14 The Antlers have added two new headlining shows in Brisbane and Melbourne, in addition to being added to Perth Arts Festival 2015.

UPDATE: 26/11/14 The Antlers have announced their support acts for forthcoming shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Joining the band in Brisbane and Sydney is triple j ‘Next Crop’ artist Hayden Calnin. Emerson Snowe will also support in Brisbane, while Lanks will support in Melbourne. Updated tour details below.
