The Bronx Announce 2014 East-Coast Australian Tour

After conquering Groovin The Moo festival in 2013 and pleasing fans with sideshows, LA punk-rockers The Bronx are set to return to Australian shores this June for a set of headlining east-coast shows.

The Bronx have been gigging and recording under the mariachi band moniker Mariachi El Bronx since 2008, releasing two albums under that name. But the group will return to Australia under their original title, and with their fourth, self-titled studio album under their belt.

Joining the tour in support of The Bronx at all but one of their shows are Melbourne-based act High Tension, who rose out of the ashes of disco-punks Young & Restless and now feature members of The Nation Blue. The band released their debut album in 2013, and have just returned from South By Southwest.

The Bronx’s 2014 east-coast tour kicks off in Brisbane on 16th June, taking in Melbourne and Hobart (as part of the city’s Dark Mofo festival) before finishing up in Sydney on 20th June. Full tour details below.
