Brit glam rock group The Darkness have their Australian tour dates, which will be their first visit to our shores since their reformation of the original line-up last year. They’ll play shows in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra; you can check out the venues below.
Yesterday we got a brief clue via the band’s Facebook page, announcing that we should keep our “eyes and ears open for some interesting news” today, which was a pretty obvious clue to their intentions to visit us – the first visit in 4 years.
The group returned with new material last year after splitting in 2006, to bring us a new over-the-top single named Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us. This marked their first material in seven years. They performed a comeback show last year at the Download Festival.
They’ll be releasing a new album some time later this year.
Tickets will go on sale on 9am Wednesday 4th April.
