Just as Soundwave promised yesterday via Facebook, today comes with the tour announcement of one of the greatest punk rock acts to emerge from the East Coast movement. The Gaslight Anthem will be showcasing their brand-new album, Handwritten, along with their other timeless anthems.
The band’s iconic bluesy sound combined with their punk sensibilities has been lauded the world over. Since the release of The 59 Sound, which has been hailed as one of the greatest rock albums of all time, the band has amassed a worthy league of followers.
Things looked shaky in the months before Handwritten was complete, the band finding themselves unsure of where they would end up next, but they forged on, finishing off one of the deepest and most real albums of their career.
